I wonder if you could crush the nuts and melt the chocolate, mix together and flatten out to set to make snack pieces. Do you think this would work?

I was thinking that, too. Yum :))

I was wondering that too! Would feel more like a chocolate bar. Good to hear from Jeannette that that's fine!

Yes definitely!!! I have done exactly that. Melt chocolate, mix with chopped nuts, place spoonfuls in paper linings in compartments in a muffin tray tin and wait to harden up.

Yes, the higher the percentage of cocoa in a bar, the more fiber! Usually these brands have no UPF and lower sugar content. Always read the labels!

Back onto chocolate again and preoccupation with emulsifers! Have I made an interesting discovery with Green & Blacks organic 70% cocoa chocolate which doesn't seem to have emulsifers or am I missing something with this brand other than it expensive?

Great discovery! Sounds like they’ve changed the ingredients as previously they contained them. Good news and thanks for sharing

Oooohhh. I like the 30 grams of nuts daily research ..... never really knew what an anti-inflammatory amount would be. I also feel dark chocolate is essential for one's fiber intake. The 90% dark chocolate I enjoy daily has 8 grams of dietary fiber in each 35 gram serving. And due to such a high fiber content one is satisfied after just half a serving! You are so correct, Jeannette ... for every nefarious food there is a nirvanic one! LOVE your new Swap Shop!

That's insane re the fibre content of the dark chocolate you are buying there. I'm going to start examining that on the side of the ones here too. Great point!
