This looks so beautiful and sounds super tasty. I have never even heard of amazake so thank you for mentioning that.

That looks delicious. I would love someone to make me a breakfast like that!

We love amazake for breakfast, too. My favourite is millet and the kids like rice, though we don’t have it very often as it’s quite expensive to buy but it makes a great simple nourishing breakfast when camping. I made it a few times about 12-15 years ago when I seemingly had more time but small children! I have no recollection of how though now. There is millet in my cupboard waiting to be fermented into porridge atm, I might look into amazake again but I think it was a long process…

Thank you Natalie and if you make it again let us know how it goes. I might give it a go too soon as it looks like a food that would be easy to digest and tastes good too!

This all looks delicious, and the eatery looks lovely and eclectic. The whipped hempseed seems interesting. Nope, never tried amazake. I sometimes have overnight oats with hempseed, chia, Greek yoghurt, kefir, apple, nuts etc. Always enjoy it. I'm like you, I do enjoy variety. Thanks for 'sharing' your breakfast with us!

Your overnight oats sound very effective for gut health - so many different combos out there to play with. With grated apple prebiotic pectin and probiotic kefir at the base it’s a good start to the day.
