Recently I was working in a We Work in London (one of those co-working spaces) and as I was typing away I became aware of a rank smell.
I looked up to see the man opposite me chomping on a burger the size of his head, the juice dripping into a box and nearly splattering me in the process. Between large mouthfuls, he put the burger down, typed, and picked it up again.
It reminded me about how many gut clients I work with tell me they don’t feel they have time to eat lunch mindfully away from their desks.
And there have been many articles on Substack recently about burn out - which eating al desko is one small part of.
So I thought I would share here how unhelpful to our health eating al desko (rather than al fresco) is. It matters!
