I am often asked what I think of this or that supplement. Here’s my honest answer, and it’s controversial.
After almost 17 years in the nutrition world, I have seen a lot come and go, and many weak products/trends with amazing marketing and social media stick.
So this article is exactly what I share with my 1-2-1 nutritional therapy clients and you my paid subscribers who enable the existence of this Substack.
It has taken me a lot of practice in the nutritional therapist’s chair to see the big picture on this topic.
When I started out, I was working with people on low incomes at a student training clinic attached to Westminster university in London where I did my BSc in nutrition.
There we recommended mainly food.
Many of these patients could not afford supplements.
But they all had to eat anyway, so why not pick foods (unprocessed) that help health rather then hinder it?
