🥛 kefir - get into making your own in minutes
Live this coming Tuesday 29 July UK time 4.30pm. Probably, the best thing you do for your gut health this year!
As you may have seen in yesterday’s post I’m keen on using fermented milk kefir for gut health.
It’s easy to have a swig each morning, and contains tens of billions of friendly probiotic bacteria to plant in your digestive system for health.
In studies it has been shown to help 💥improve lactose intolerance, 💥reduce cholesterol and lower blood pressure, 💥improve blood sugar balance, 💥help the immune system work better, 💥heal leaky gut, 💥reduce fat gain around the middle of the body, 💥improve irritable bowel syndrome… the list goes on.
If you get into having it every day the cost can add up, and there’s a lot of wasted plastic bottles, so it is really worth considering making your own on repeat.
Once in the habit, you can do it without thinking - in a couple of minutes, then leave on the counter to ferment overnight.
It’s one of the easiest fermented foods there is and most effective for gut-health in my opinion.
And you’ll save a small fortune.
Anyway, I’m doing a quick demo on Tuesday at 4.30pm via the live function on Substack to show you how easy it is, where to get the grains, what milks to use, and how to get started.
Paid subscribers will be able to comment and ask questions, so if you have been thinking about subscribing to The Gut Makeover, maybe this is the time to come over to the paid side and get the whole shebang.
A subscription is £4 a month if you take out an annual - the price of one large organic kefir bottle (which you won’t need any more because you’ll be making your own for a fraction of that!).
Put it in your diary and join this Tuesday at 4.30pm UK time by pressing this button…
Hope to see you there! Jeannette x
